The Ancient Tree line is made with tealeaves picked from wild and semi-wild tea trees some of which are more than 1,400 years old. Ancient Tree Teas are harvested and produced at our Fair Trade project in Mannong Manmai, a remote region in southwestern Yunnan. Rishi's Fair Trade initiatives with our partners in Mannong Manmai are discussed in more detail at www.rishi-tea.com. The design represents the centuries old tea project where the tea is harvested to pay tribute to the artisans who cultivate the product. The labels are designed for easy removal to make the tins recyclable.
